Position Type: Contract (Hourly, $55-$65)
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are seeking a skilled Contract Accounting Manager to support our client’s finance team in Mobile, AL. This role offers a flexible work environment, primarily remote with on-site work required only during month-end close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Support audit processes by addressing inquiries and providing documentation as needed.
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and analyses to support organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on month-end close and general ledger.
- Experience handling audit inquiries and completing special projects.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
