Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a Part-time Contract Accounts Payable Clerk for a human services organization located in Stone Mountain, GA. This is an onsite role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
- Reviewing and reconciling vendor statements
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable
- Responding to vendor inquiries and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Assisting with audit preparation as needed
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely payment processing
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Experience:
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
