About the Job
The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the administration and organization of contracts throughout their lifecycle. This role ensures contracts are accurately executed, maintained, and complied with, while providing support to the legal and procurement teams. The Contract Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring that all contractual obligations are met by both parties, and assists with negotiations, renewals, and modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, including service agreements, NDAs, and purchase orders.
- Maintain and update contract management databases, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Track contract milestones, deliverables, and renewal dates, and ensure compliance with all contractual terms.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external vendors regarding contract terms, renewals, and modifications.
- Facilitate contract execution by obtaining necessary signatures and approvals from stakeholders.
- Monitor and follow up on contract performance and compliance, resolving any issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare reports on contract statuses, renewal dates, and upcoming obligations.
- Assist legal and procurement teams in contract negotiations and modifications.
- Ensure that contracts comply with internal policies and applicable legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or a related field. A paralegal certificate is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in contract administration or a similar role.
- Familiarity with contract law and legal terminology.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multiple departments.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in contract management software or tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of procurement processes or government contracts (if applicable).
