Company and role:
Our client is a construction company on the east side of Columbus, and they are looking for a Contract Analyst
In this role you will negotiate construction and real estate contracts, assess risk and ensure submittals are compliant
There will be heavy collaboration with Project Managers, Accounting and Finance, and you must be someone who is both comfortable and good at building relationships and working with vendors.
What you will do:
Manage daily operational aspects of agreement processing
Evaluate and mitigate risks, conduct negotiations, and ensure adherence to terms
Monitor and report on agreement status to internal teams and external partners
Generate and maintain primary and secondary agreements
Create customized agreements and modifications to address varied business relationships
Optimize agreement workflows and assist with implementing related software solutions
Collaborate with project teams to facilitate execution and ongoing monitoring
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Maintain a database of critical terms and conditions for team reference
Who they are looking for:
Minimum of 2 years experience in construction contracts OR recent law school graduate
Exposure to standard construction contract forms a huge plus

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;
other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
