Contract Specialist (Level 1)

Pay: $100,000/yr - $138,000/yr
MUST:
Active TS/SCI required
Experienced Contract Specialist
3 -4 years of market research, solicitation docs, (pre and post award), reviewing proposals and doing cost/price analyst
3 - 4 years of cradle-to-grace contract support
3 - 4 years of federal contract experience in Finance and Accounting
3 - 4 years writing small quick procurements
3 - 4 years supporting the Contracting Officer to develop acquisition strategies
DUTIES:
Provide cradle-to-grave contract support, such as conducting market research, preparing solicitation documentation (pre and post-award), reviewing proposals for compliance, performing cost/price evaluations, assisting with negotiating positions, reviewing, and processing invoices.
Work on contracts aimed at boosting human and business performance through the implementation of business process redesign and information technology (IT) modernization to include data analytics and cloud computing.
Work with the Contracting Officer in developing acquisition strategies, including determination of contract method/type; performing contract administration, including but not limited to maintaining contract file folders and preparing contract modifications.
Work with the Contracting Officer in the oversight of contract performance.
Assist in communicating project status and issues and develop acquisition and policy recommendations.
90% of the workload will consist of small quick procurements.
Other duties as assigned.
