Contract LCSW - DocCare

Work Location: Hauppauge, New York

                       In-person- private practice 

 Job Type: Part-time/Contract 

 Salary: $70 per consult, $60 per follow-up/ per hr.

Job Description:

An established primary care and multi-specialty medical practice is seeking an experienced part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker to be an integral part of our team on a fee-for-service basis. This position is for our Hauppauge, NY office. This is an outstanding opportunity for the candidate to build primary care and make a difference to the patients in our neighborhood. This independent contractor position offers flexibility and autonomy in building a successful private practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and in a professional manner, both in person and over the phone.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide psychotherapy services, including individual, couples, and family therapy.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address a variety of mental health concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation per ethical and legal standards.
• Adhere to professional ethical guidelines and maintain licensure requirements.
• Manage client scheduling.
• Network and market your services to build a client base. 

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted LCSW licensure in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Strong ethical and professional boundaries.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred
