Audiologist

Location: St. Johnsbury, VT

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our partner hospital in St. Johnsbury, VT. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside ENT providers, providing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of all ages.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day:

• Diagnostic Testing: Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations for patients, including hearing tests, balance assessments, and tinnitus evaluations.
• Hearing Aid Services: Collaborate with hearing instrument specialists to provide hearing amplification services, including assessments, fittings, cleanings, repairs, counseling, and education.
• Patient-Centered Care: Utilize your listening and communication skills to build rapport and create a comfortable experience for patients.
• Administrative Support: Share in the department's administrative tasks, such as ordering audiology supplies, verifying hearing aid benefits, and managing documentation, calls, and messages.

Qualifications:

• Education: AuD or Master's degree in Audiology.
• Licensure: Current Vermont Audiology license.
• Certification: BLS certification.
• Experience: 12 months of clinical experience in Audiology is preferred, but new graduates and those new to the field are welcome to apply.

Schedule:

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Days: 5x8s (Monday-Friday)
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Call Coverage: Rotating call every 12 days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Call pay, overtime, and shift differentials are provided when called in.
