Semper Valens Solutions (SVS) is looking for a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. The selected candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of contracts & subcontracts and must have experience providing cradle-to-grave subcontract administration support for FFP, CPFF, and T&M subcontracts, including RFP prepping, and coordination of appropriate internal reviews, contract negotiation, and contract/task order administration and execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Candidate will be responsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with subcontract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws.
- Candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contract and subcontracts.
- Multi-task and prioritize work activities in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
- Frequently interact both orally and face to face with other procurement staff, functional peers, management, and external and internal customers.
- Identify and mitigate subcontract risks as well as coordinate appropriate reviews in accordance with SVS policy and procedures. Lead the review, analysis negotiate Teaming Agreements, NDAs, and licenses as required.
- Responsible for the overall contract and subcontract execution and compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract and subcontract requirements, all in accordance with the FAR and ensure the subcontract is in compliant to pass a CPSR audit.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines and US Government contracting
- Federal or military contracting experience
- Minimum 5-years' experience conducting a wide range of acquisition lifecycle activities, including:
- Support the implementation and management of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system and contract processing.
- Collaborate with various internal business partners to process and execute contracts and agreements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure appropriate internal approvals and signature authorities are followed in the contract review and approval process.
- Monitor contract timelines, milestones, and renewals to avoid delays and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing guidance on contract-related matters and resolving issues promptly.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within contract workflows and recommend solutions to increase efficiency.
- Stay informed on industry best practices for contract management and suggest enhancements to current processes.
- Review and redline contracts as directed by VP - Director of Contracts.
- Assist with other duties as needed and directed.
- Or a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields or related studies:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Pre-Law
- Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Attention to administrative detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- At least one of the following designations:
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)
- Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
