Contracts Administrator - TS Clearance at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL)

If so, we 're looking for someone like you to join our Contracts Management team at APL.

We are seeking a Contracts Manager to support all facets of prime contract administration within the Business, Construction and Facilities Department (BCFD), Contracts & Asset Management Group. You will serve as the primary interface between APL program/financial managers and government Contracting Officers, lead pre- and post-award contract formation, and manage activities for a portfolio of complex government contracts.

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• Have 3 or more years of professional level experience as a Contracts Manager/Administrator in federal government "prime" contracting.
• Have in-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and FAR supplements.
• Have strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Have proficient MS Word and Excel skills.
• Are able to form close and effective partnerships.
• Can multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and independently solve problems.
• Hold an active Top Secret security clearance or higher. If selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

You go above and beyond our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

• Have professional level Contracts Management experience working with DoD’s Maryland Procurement Office (MPO) and/or possess a clearance granted by MPO.
