Job Description including tasks/responsibilities
Lead and manage the capital project contract development process, including selecting the appropriate contract template, coordination of Job Specification components, assisting in contractor evaluation, selection, negotiations, award recommendation and execution.
Ensure consistency between all contract components (Exhibits, Job Specification, etc.)
Lead the commercial evaluation as a member of the bid review team and ensure that commercial impact of any contractual or technical/execution issues that are resolved/changed during the evaluation period are accurately reflected in final and contract
Ensure all other documents and exhibits are complete and included in the final contract, including all functional reviews as required
Well versed in negotiations with significant redlines on capital project engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreements or project subcontracts
Strong understanding risk management concepts and guidelines
Proactively communicate and collaborate with staff functions (i.E. Legal, tax) and category families to maximize commercial intensity and value
Monitor status of the contractor market (seeking input from Category Managers)
Analyze data on market intelligence from other internal company groups/sources and use results to optimize project contracting and execution strategies
Integrate overall commercial - technical contracting components and ensure overall contract quality and integrity
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
5 years of broad-based capital project contracting or subcontracting formation experience,
Strong proficiency and experience in commercial negotiations, favorably resolving significant contract exception requests/redlines for large project engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts or capital project subcontracts
Proficient in oral and written communications
Outstanding initiative, drive and resilience in day-to-day-activities to meet tight deadlines
MBA preferred BS/MS Engineering, MS Construction Management or Business majors

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $70 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note:
Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
