POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall support and administration of the contracting process at BMC. This includes working closely with suppliers, internal business stakeholders, sourcing teams and the Legal department. Ensures vendor compliance with contract obligations according to BMC policy, procedure and regulatory requirements.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma is required.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of two years of experience with procurement or materials management systems required (INFOR preferred)
3-5 years of experience in vendor relations
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
-Proficiency in Excel is required
-Understanding of contract language and terminology
-Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
-Excellent data entry, analytical and time - management skills
-Good oral and written communications skills as well as typing skills

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Serves as the primary operational resource for current and new agreements.
- Responsible for submitting contract documentation of agreements that will be uploaded into the Infor system, inIncluding addition of new contracts, updates of current contracts and assisting in the management of the overall process.
- Reviews contracts to ensure they meet BMC standards and policies for acceptable terms and conditions.
- Provides day-to-day support regarding pricing discrepancies by working closely with the Buyer and Master Data Management teams to resolve the issues.
- Responsible for accurate and timely extension, renewal or termination of contracts.
- Participates in negotiating and finalizing contracts.
- Communicates and presents contract related information to stakeholders and SCO Leadership.
- Responsible for following appropriate signature authority for all contracts processed in accordance with BMC policy and procedure.
- Participates in Infor related training sessions for the SCO Contracting Team.
- Responsible for following all Supply Chain policies and procedures.
- Conforms to hospital standards of performance and conduct, including those pertaining to patient rights, so that the best possible customer services and patient care may be provided
- Utilize hospital's behavioral standards as the basis for decision-making and facilitate the department's and the hospital's mission and goals
- Follows established hospital infection control and safety procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
