SUMMARY Acts as a conduit for all non-standard quote requests and responses for external and internal customers for manufacturing products and limited back-up support for Services during peak periods or personnel absences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Daily tasks: Monitors and maintains email box for new requests and responses to information requests. Reviews new requests for completeness and obtains additional information from appropriate parties if necessary. Maintains the Quote Log including logging new requests and completed quotes. Research new requests for current/previous pricing, correct part numbers and other relevant information necessary to the pricing process. Determines distribution and sends specific requests to appropriate dept. i.e. Engineering, Purchasing, Contracts, Production, Quality, and Transportation. Gathers all information required to price requested products and submits to Contracts Director. Prepares quotes and emails to appropriate parties.
Monitors weekly metrics relative to incoming and outgoing quotes including but not limited to quantity, lead times and win rates for customers and types of quotes via the quote log. Identifies new products that are quoted, within the Internal AAR Price Lists alongside the Pricing Analyst Supports and serves as a back-up for Pricing Analyst for pricing activities and associated quotes and requests. Maintains a working knowledge of product offering and contract pricing in order to facilitate communication on non-standard quote requests. Serves as a point of contact and facilitator for non-standard quote processing for internal communications and customer requests. Works with all departments (Contracts, Engineering, Purchasing, Transportation, Production, Quality) including Program Managers, to obtain appropriate information for pricing and proposal submittals, as well as contract changes. Supports the Contracts and Sales Departments in various proposal, administrative and marketing activities. Performs such individual assignments as supervisors and superiors may direct; ensures adequate and continuous controls are exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Technical and analytical business skills as typically evidenced by completion of a bachelors degree (business or marketing) or commensurate experience. Strong oral and written communication and customer support skills. Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Adobe Acrobat including the ability to learn new software is required.
