POSITION SUMMARY:
Servtech, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Control Panel Technician III to joinour team in our manufacturing facilities for the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions. This individualmust have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.Servtech, is looking for someone that will be responsible for the construction of basic electrical control panels in a safe and timely manner with the intent of improving electrical abilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Safety is essential at Servtech and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate.

- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.

- Must meet deadlines while working safely to ensure a quality product.
- Must be able to drill, tap, cut, and grind electrical enclosures and back panels.
- Build basic electrical systems including control stations and junction boxes.
- Must be able to proficiently interpret data from electrical and mechanical diagrams and schematics.
- Use basic electrical test equipment, i.e., multimeter.
- Must be able to complete quality control checklists.
- Must be able to train Technician I and II employees in basic electrical techniques.
- Run electrical wires in the most effective route to minimize wire used and for uniformity and neatness.
- Must comply with the Roeslein Attendance Policy.
- Conduct activities safely and work according to established safety and company requirements.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform set-up, material handling duties, and minor general maintenance.
- Responsible for area housekeeping.
- Participate in the processes of continuous improvement including efforts to meet company goals.
- Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly is required. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of the time and sit 10% of the time. Requires the ability to work from heights while utilizing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for each situation.
SKILL / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
- An associate degree in Electrical, Control Systems Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- A good motor vehicle record is required.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
- Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
- 2-4 years of electrical experience is required.
- Ability to read prints and schematic drawings is required.
- High Voltage AC and Low Voltage DC experience is required.
- High attention to detail.
- Must work well under pressure.
- Strong math skills are required.
- Experience with handheld tools and assembling parts is required.
