TITLE: Control Room Technician

POSITION TYPE: Part Time, Hourly

LOCATION: San Jose, CA

REPORTS TO: Technical Services Manager

Summary:

Control Room Technician will provide technical support for each event, stage show, and sports production as scheduled by the Technical Services Manager.

Major Responsibilities and Representative Tasks

• Proven ability to edit video and build graphics to promote upcoming events, corporate clients, and food concessionaires
• Proven ability to operate and install audio, lighting, video, scoreboards systems for large sporting, entertainment, and cooperate events
• Partner with Technical Services Manager to understand the proper usage of logos and participate in trademark protection policies of the company.
• Good organizational and project management skills
• Ability to meet appearance standards

Competencies and Qualifications

• (1-2) years of college with graphics design, radio/television, and audio visual productions.
• Be committed to "world class" operations in terms of a professional business; understand the needs SSE vision and purpose so that the objectives are achieved
• Ability to exercise creativity, initiative and good judgment in the handling of all Technical Services functions.
• Able to work flexible working hours including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Knowledge of Word, and Excel operation
• Proven ability to design and build complex video and graphic packages for all of our company's properties including motion graphics, 2D/3D animation
• Knowledge of video editing systems such as: Adobe Premiere
