This is a permanent position within our Manufacturing department, where you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to ensure optimal performance of our manufacturing processes. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from small-scale improvements to large-scale system overhauls, all aimed at improving efficiency and quality. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Allen Bradley PLC and ControlLogix systems, who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain control systems to support manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement PLC programming for Allen Bradley and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and PLC programming.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all control systems and PLC programs comply with safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
- Continually monitor and analyze system performance, making adjustments and recommendations as necessary.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Willing to live in the New Orleans metro area and work in the office and out of town during implementation of projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Allen Bradley PLC and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix systems.
- Proficient in PLC programming.
- Proficient in using computer software and applications related to control systems engineering.
