**Harborview Medical Center - Maintenance** has an outstanding opportunity to hire a **Control Technician Lead- Electronics Shop** .
**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ 40 hours per week, Day Shift **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** The Control Technician Lead will perform skilled work in the inspection, testing, servicing, and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, and electrical controls for fire alarm systems, fire safety equipment, and related equipment. Work requires special skills in nurse call systems and fire alarm systems. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** - Lead the work involving installation, modification, trouble diagnosis, testing, repair, calibration and operation of a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic equipment and apparatus used in nurse call, impulsed clocks, IP closed circuit camera, pneumatic tube and security systems.- Use such tools as drill presses, grinders, band saws, hand drills, soldering guns, small hand tools, hand brake and specialized apparatus- Trouble-shoot and repair of IP closed circuit camera system- Setup, Trouble-shoot AV equipment and teleconference equipment- May trouble-shoot and repair fire alarm systems as assigned- Trouble-shoot and repair nurse call system and components- Trouble-shoot and repair Electronic systems- Trouble-shoot and repair Access Controls, Cameras, Bosch, Lenel,- Install new installations, repair and extend existing systems.- Perform related duties as required **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:** - One year of full-time experience as a journey control technician, or equivalent trade skill. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license may be required.- Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration. **ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:** - Fire alarm NICET and FA-1 certified- Low voltage electrician (EL06)- Ability to read electrical schematics , diagrams.
