+ Schedule: Controlled Substance pharmacy technician position, with evening, weekend and holiday coverage. Hours:09:00 to 17:00 07:00 to 15:3006:30 to 15:00

+ Salary: $19.48-$29.22
_Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors including applicable licenses, certifications, education, experience, location, qualifications and comparison with associates in similar roles._
Three years previous experience in a hospital pharmacy or similar environment preferred.
Extensive knowledge of controlled substances regulations.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
Lead assigned staff in performing activities or task in pharmacy services.
+ Lead or coordinate shift operation of assigned activities, resources, and/or associate.
+ Serve as a technical or functional resource and perform similar duties with staff.
+ Assign, monitor and review progress of work.
+ Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures.
+ Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates.
+ May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
+ Oversee daily activities of the Pharmacy 3-Technicians under the direction of the pharmacist and management.
+ Participate in problem solving within the department.
+ Assist with specialty projects and tasks as assigned by Pharmacy Management.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specificexperience required.
Additional Preferences
+ Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
