Controller - Accounting Manager - Strategic Employment

Construction firm focused on projects for the hospitality industry is looking for a Accounting Manager / Controller to oversee their growing team. In this role you'll be responsible for team management, financial statements, reporting, internal controls, payroll, AP, etc. You'll be working in an organization with multiple entities while helping to steer the overall understanding and financial health of the organization. You will be integral in developing yearly budgets, capital plans, and audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience managing a team (Accounting Manager, Controller, or similar)
• Quickbooks, Excel
• Strong GAAP understanding
• Budgeting, forecasting, financial statement, financial reports, payroll, AP, intercompany receivables, etc.

Pluses

• Construction or hospitality industry experience
• Project Accounting experience
• Audit or assurance
• Masters in Accounting, CPA, or similar education
