Experienced Controller Needed for Construction Company

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team. In this role, you will oversee financial operations and ensure high-quality control of staff work. Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, managerial reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, tax, audit, cash management, banking, journal entries, accruals, and fixed assets. The ideal candidate will be a team player who guides the team in accounting best practices, internal controls, and technical accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the annual budget process and external audits (financial, 401K, program).
• Oversee all financial reporting, expenditure reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare organizational financial statements, bank reports, and indirect cost rate calculations.
• Manage and update accounting procedures and policies as needed.
• Maintain expert knowledge of accounting practices.
• Adapt productively to changes and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• CPA with a combination of ten (10) years of accounting and supervisory experience.

Not Required but Preferred:

• Experience within the construction industry
• Experience within healthcare industry
