Hybrid work schedule targeting 140-155k base salary (depending on experience)

Essential Job Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee monthly closing process to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Assure general ledger transactions are accurate and have adequate supporting documentation.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of monthly organization financial reports.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain tools, systems, and procedures that ensure internal controls and accuracy on an ongoing basis.
• Liaise with external accountants to manage the audit and 990, and create schedules necessary for the preparation of annual documentation
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting for the organization, including preparing schedules and other reports.
• Participate in budget to actual department reviews. Provide financial training to budget owners to assist them in the preparation and review of their budgets.
• Supervise, lead, guide, coach, and mentor direct reports in financial reporting and accounts payable as well as the department team. Ensure the success of the team and their performance with an eye toward internal controls and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the lead and primary point of contact for non-US office accounting and finance operations

Experience Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Non-profit reporting accounting or finance including a minimum of 3 years of management experience.
• Experience in a charitable non-profit environment with high volume donor transactions
• Public accounting experience is preferred.
