Job Details
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. This role involves managing a wide range of responsibilities, including financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
Oversee invoice processing for various vendors.
Manage payments, including checks, online transactions, and ACH transfers.
Maintain necessary documentation and handle quarterly payments.
Accounts Receivable:
Generate invoices for internal facilities and external contracts.
Ensure accuracy in general ledger coding and reconciliation of accounts.
Manage credit card processing and account reconciliation.
Company Credit Cards:
Manage the issuance and termination of company credit cards.
Provide training and support for cardholders.
Review and approve expenses, ensuring accurate statement reconciliation.
Month-End and Year-End Processes:
Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial entries.
Assist with year-end entries and collaborate with auditors on reconciliations.
Payroll and Benefits:
Oversee payroll deductions, reporting, and billing.
Administer benefits and ensure accurate deductions.
Consulting Billing:
Handle adjustments and billing for consulting services.
Review contracts to ensure accurate billing processes.
Taxes:
Coordinate with external firms for tax filings across multiple entities.
Ensure compliance and manage the review of tax returns.
Billing and AP Clean Up:
Refine import processes and assist with the transition to new entities.
Provide ongoing training and manage billing for management fees.
Budgeting and Financial Planning:
Develop annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor expenses and report variances to support decision-making.
Audits and Compliance:
Prepare for audits and manage documentation.
Establish and document internal controls to ensure compliance.
Financial Statements and Reporting:
Create financial templates and manage cash flow forecasting.
Prepare financial reports for various reporting purposes.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.
Tasks:
Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Maintain an effective system of internal controls to safeguard assets.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership to drive strategy.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and implement recommendations.
Review payroll and manage relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial strategy and decision-making.
Lead and develop junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
Proven experience in a finance leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Experience in healthcare or related industries is preferred.
