Our Current Need:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will exemplify our culture of teamwork, exceeding customer expectations, and success. You will lead by example every day and actively engage with the operations, sales, and executive teams to achieve company sales, revenue, and profit objectives. Your role will involve managing the financial functions of the firm to ensure customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and financial integrity.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 4 years in an Accounting Manager or higher role.
• Experience managing a team of more than five financial professionals.

Job Summary:

• Ensure that appropriate systems, processes, and internal controls are in place to report financial data timely and accurately.
• Manage compliance with all company licenses, insurances, and tax requirements at local, state, and federal levels.
• Lead company risk management, including insurance and bonding.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Supervise and lead the Accounting Team.
• Oversee training programs and identify training needs for the Accounting Team.
• Oversee the professional development of the Accounting Team.
• Maintain and document accounting policies and procedures; implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
• Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
• Recommend benchmarks to measure the company’s performance.
• Work with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual tax and audit.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

• Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Work Authorization/Other Requirements:

• Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required.
• Maintain a valid driver's license.
