My client, a booming and dynamic organization that has been in business for over 45 years, is looking to add a Controller to their team due to a promotion. This company is experiencing high growth. Overview of Controller Role:

• The Controller will lead smooth running accounting team of eight.
• Oversee all accounting operational functions including accounts payable, cash applications, month end close, fixed assets, general ledger, and financial statement reporting.
• Manage annual budgeting process and financial analysis.
• Manage the process to develop, maintain, generate, and review monthly corporate financial reports including P&L statements, balance sheet, cash flow statement,
• Lead and manage all tax compliance including federal income tax, multi-state and local income tax, multistate (US & CA) sales and use tax processes, filing compliance requirements, and maintain tax firm partner relationships
• Assist with NetSuite implementation.
• Assist in treasury management functions, banking processes and procedures.
• Maintain financial and accounting policies, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements that are compliant with GAAP.

Preferred Qualifications of the Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another related field
• Management experie4nce4 not required but is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
