About the Job
Controller:
CFS is partnering with an organization who is a leader in their industry, to identify a Controller to oversee all areas of accounting, finance, internal controls, operations, and HR. This is a dynamic and fast paced organization that is searching for a like minded individual to support organizational leadership in strategic growth efforts
Job Functions of the Controller:
- Oversees Accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions.
- Works with other department heads to monitor each department and make recommendations.
- Directs the preparations of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses; makes and oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
- Review planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
- Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
- Works with the President and other Management to coordinate planning and strategizing for the future direction of the company.
- Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
- Oversees investment of funds and is involved with raising additional capital that is required for expansion.

Educational:
- Work Experience: 10 years of demonstrated work experience in Finance or Accounting,
- Education: (BA/BS) in (Finance/Accounting) or equivalent experience,
- Computer Skills: Prior experience working with (Excel, WORD MS Office Suite),
- Organization Skills: (Highly analytical with strong troubleshooting skills; Ability to efficiently multi-task and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment),
- Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally with multiple peers and groups,
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and external interests (investors, bank, auditors); strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
Salary - $90-115k Plus bonus potential.
