About the Job
- Controller will participate in the development of and support the company's strategic plans
- Monitor the financial performance of the company
- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages
- Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets
- Develop and managed financial controls in accordance with the company's procedures
- Communicate financial metrics to senior management
- Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments
- Managed the preparation of payroll for personnel
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; Hearing and resolving employee grievances; Counseling employees and supervisors
- As a Controller, you will maintain employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; Conducting investigations; Maintaining records; Representing the organization at hearings
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Lead human resources staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Oversee human resource results by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Construction experience in a Controller or Bookkeeper role
- Must have WIP experience
- Experience using Foundations software is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
