Controller

Our client, a Higher Education organization in Hampden County, is currently seeking a Controller to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Controller

• Full responsibility for all accounting functions for the organization
• Financial statement preparation
• Financial reporting and analysis
• AP & Payroll
• Lead the annual budget process
• Supervisory responsibilities including oversight & guidance of 5 direct reports

Required Qualifications of the Controller

• BS in Finance or Accounting. MBA or CPA a plus
• Higher education or non-profit experience
• Experience with Ellucian Colleague ERP software is a plus
