How You Will Contribute

• Manage books and records of multiple entities of the company.
• Coordinate cash management including bill payment, expense reimbursement, invoicing, account reconciliations, and cashflow planning.
• Develop, maintain, and compile financial schedules including loan amortization fee calculation and return calculation waterfalls.
• Prepare financial statements, capital statements, and partner allocations.
• Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
• Collaborate with fund administrator, auditors, and tax preparers.
• Prepare SBIC fund reports and documentation.
• Prepare year end workpapers for outside accounting firms; review draft returns and coordinate timely filings, payments and other legally required notices.
• Prepare internal financial analysis.
• Assist with investor-related affairs including record maintenance and ad hoc reporting.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years’ experience in public accounting, fund administration or with a private equity firm.
• Experience working with private equity funds and/or partnership accounting.
• Ability to understand and comply with operating agreements governing the operations of the entities and other relevant legal documents.
• Advanced Excel skills and QuickBooks proficiency.
