- Control costs within the division, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and procedures
- Planning, forecasting and reporting financial and operational performance,
- Prepare accurate and timely financial and operational reports, including financial statements, operational KPIs and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Present financial reports to senior leaders.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for the division.
- Prepare and analyze financial forecasts and variance reports.
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and trends.
- Driving business improvements and implementing internal controls.
- Identify and report on key financial metrics.
- Develop financial models for decision support.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks within the Aftermarket division.
- Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
- Accounting designation preferred (CPA).
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Business Unit Controller, or similar role in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Advanced proficiency in financial management software (e.g. JD Edwards, Cognos) and MS Excel.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
