Job Title: Financial Controller

MUST HAVE: Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred

MUST HAVE: Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

MUST HAVE: Extensive NetSuite expertise

MUST HAVE: Strong Costing experience in the food industry

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring efficient financial operations within the food manufacturing environment
• Engage directly in costing activities, including the analysis of ingredient costs, production expenses, and overhead related to food production
• Establish and uphold internal control policies to guarantee the precision and reliability of financial reporting
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports, highlighting key performance indicators relevant to the food manufacturing industry
• Liaise with external auditors for regular audits, maintaining adherence to fiscal regulations and standards
• Work closely with the executive team to formulate budgets, financial projections, and strategies aimed at cost savings and operational efficiency
• Provide mentorship and direction to the accounting staff, promoting a culture of professional growth and excellence

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
• Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred
• Demonstrated experience in food manufacturing, with a solid grasp of cost accounting and inventory management
• Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of leading a high-performing team
• Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Proficient with accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels
