We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our fast-paced manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our financial management team, leading financial operations and contributing to the strategic financial planning of the company. This position requires a professional who is adept at managing and coordinating all company accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, and providing strategic financial insight to support company growth and profitability. If you are a seasoned professional with a solid background in manufacturing accounting and a passion for strategic planning and financial management, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
2. Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
3. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
4. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, budgets, and forecasts to the executive team.
5. Develop and manage internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure minimal financial risk.
6. Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report, financial audits, and tax returns.
7. Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
8. Provide strategic management of the accounting and finance functions.
9. Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; conferring with the executive management team.
10. Spearhead the annual budgeting and planning process.
11. Work with senior teams to grow the business, formulating strategies and plans.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. An MBA, CPA, or related designation is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of proven accounting experience, preferably in a senior role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, and strategic planning.
4. Strong understanding of internal controls and financial auditing.
