Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensure that all financial data is accurate and complete.
- Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded appropriately and accurately.
- Utilize the Yardi platform for all financial processes, including data entry, reporting, and reconciliation. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the system.
- Provide assistance during external and internal audits, ensuring all documentation is readily available and complies with audit requests.
- Work closely with other departments, such as investment and development teams, to ensure accurate project accounting and reporting.
- Participate in ad hoc financial analyses and projects as assigned by the Controller or senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant real estate / private equity experience
- Strong experience with Yardi ERP system is required.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
