Full Time -- Onsite -- Plant Controller
Base Salary: $120-135k plus Bonus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site in conformance to departmental standards.
Analyze variances and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions.
Collaborate with Site Leader, Plant Accountants, and senior management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations, and prepare complex analysis.
Assist in preparation of budgets.
Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits.
Responsible for assuring compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
Enforce and review internal controls and testing thereof, such that the company is in compliance with Rule 404 of Sarbanes Oxley.
Prepares reports required by regulatory and tax agencies.
Develops and maintains working knowledge of corporate structure, practices, and policies.
Design and maintains accurate internal and external reports.
Manages Plant Finance department staffing in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. This includes staff forecasting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ensures compliance and provides an environment that supports our Corporate Affirmative Action Plan and Equal Employment Opportunity laws.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related degree.
Three plus years accounting management experience in a manufacturing environment with strong emphasis in cost accounting.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
Sound written and oral communication skills; must be able to write and understand routine reports, follow oral and written instructions, and speak effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and work with diverse groups of people.
Must have knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment and be familiar with commonly used email, Internet, word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and materials. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
CPA Certification
Five plus years experience in managing accounting functions with a publicly traded company.
Knowledge of SEC rules
Experience in Contract Manufacturing and EMS industry desired.
