About the Job
Main duties:
- Responsibility for the monthly closing process.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives in operations, asset management and productivity programs.
- Work closely Corporate Finance to ensure that there is adequate documentation, process flows and support for compliance.
- Seeks out and seizes opportunities for cost reduction through process, policy and practice initiatives.
- Identify and drive operational efficiencies for accounting cycle as well as enhancing procedures and standard work instructions.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls and procedures over financial reporting including design and assessment of effectiveness of controls and procedures.
- Prepare and track Capital Asset Requisition Request.
- Assist in the coordination financial statements and SOX 404 audits by Internal and External auditors.
- Preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
- Coordinate the review and processing of division expense reports and accounts payable disbursements though the Shared Services group.
- Support annual physical inventory and cycle counting.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting is required
- CPA preferred
- 3+ years of previous management experience
- Experience with cost accounting
- Strong in US-GAAP knowledge
