Controller: Multifamily Construction
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Lead all finance and accounting operations to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Reporting & Strategy: Prepare financial statements and forecasting reports for executive review, providing insights for decision-making.
- Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, identify financial trends, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Policy & Procedures: Establish and enforce financial policies, ensuring procedural consistency and operational efficiency.
- Systems Leadership: Oversee the transition from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, with seamless integration with Procore and other platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 5-10 years as a Controller in a construction company, specifically in multifamily construction (required).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance (MBA/MPA with a Finance concentration is a plus).
- Skillset:
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Adaptive, Procore, and Monday.com
- Advanced Excel skills and MS Office expertise
- Certifications: CPA preferred, but not required.
- Character: Strong communicator who can confidently present to executives, adaptable to both strategic and operational demands.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience.
- Bonuses: Discretionary annual bonuses.
