Controller 

Job Summary: 

The Hands-On Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the company. This role requires a deep understanding of SyteLine ERP systems and the ability to manage financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Utilize SyteLine ERP system to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a Controller role.
• Hands-on experience with SyteLine ERP system is a plus 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
