Our well-established company in the Accounting + Finance industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to take part in the strategic financial decision-making process, influence the financial growth, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Healthcare Accounting, Treasury, Manufacturing Accounting, Ledger, Cash Flow, and Financials. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controller, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing all financial operations including Healthcare Accounting, Treasury, Manufacturing Accounting, Ledger, Cash Flow, and Financials.
2. Developing and implementing financial strategies and systems that align with company's goals.
3. Managing and supervising accounting department activities and staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
4. Preparing and presenting financial reports to the management team, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
5. Analyzing financial data and identifying cost reduction opportunities.
6. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
7. Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
8. Managing company's cash flow and forecasting future financial trends.
9. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Proven experience in Healthcare Accounting, Treasury, Manufacturing Accounting, Ledger, Cash Flow, and Financials.
4. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and create strategic plans.
6. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Excel.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
