Job Details
Our organization is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Controller. This dynamic role will allow you to utilize your skills and experience in budgeting, strategic planning, financial accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, internal controls, forecasting, leadership, team management, decision making, problem solving, communication, negotiation, Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, financial analysis and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and be able to drive financial success and growth within our organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
2. Develop and implement strategic financial plans to align with company goals and objectives.
3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
4. Lead and manage the finance team to ensure efficiency and productivity.
5. Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address financial challenges and implement effective solutions.
6. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and executives to present financial information and updates.
7. Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize financial outcomes.
8. Use Microsoft Excel and NetSuite for financial analysis and reporting.
9. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
10. Work closely with the manufacturing department to manage costs and improve profitability.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
3. Proven experience with budgeting, strategic planning, financial accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, internal controls, and forecasting.
4. Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills.
5. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite.
8. Experience in the manufacturing industry is REQUIRED
9. Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and standards.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
