About the Job
Our client is looking for a Controller to oversee all financial aspects of the company. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of all financial activities, as well as timely and precise financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving financial excellence and maintaining standards across accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, control, audit, and administrative functions to ensure they are executed effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic financial plans and initiatives. Provide financial insights and support for business development, project management, and operational decisions.
- Lead the budgeting process, including the preparation, review, and presentation of project and division budgets. Develop financial forecasts and models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Monitor budget performance, providing recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support the contract and closing processes, including the review of contracts and preparation of closing documents for customer transactions and acquisitions.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Financial and Administrative staff to foster a high-performance team environment.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures throughout the organization.
- Guarantee that all corporate and operational reports are submitted accurately and on time.
- Assist in managing information system issues and concerns to maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain responsibility for the accuracy of financial reports for assigned entities and subsidiaries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA is required.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in cost accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
