GENERAL JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE:
• Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting
• Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
• Develop and achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions
• Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
• Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
• Establish (in coordination with CFO) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis
• Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
• Ensures operation of equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Analyze operational performance and report weekly on potential issues and opportunities in cost management and performance opportunities
• Perform other related administrative tasks as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.
• Ability to use accounting software for recording, storing, and analyzing financial data.
• Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis

• Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Efficient operation of a 10-key calculator or equivalent and other related office equipment.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is largely a sedentary role at a desk or working on a computer; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Environmental Conditions: This job operates in an office setting and may occasionally include laboratories or plants. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May be exposed to various environmental conditions such as foul smells and dust.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend and/or overtime hours may occasionally be expected.
Travel Requirements: 5%-10% travel to local facilities and other locations as needed.

Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 Annually
