We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our rapidly growing finance team. This is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the company's strategic direction. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting and financial reporting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
As a Controller, you will be responsible for leading the financial operations of the company. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the financial operations of the company, including the design and implementation of financial systems, policies, and procedures.
2. Managing the month-end close process and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
3. Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial reports and guidance to senior management.
4. Developing and implementing strategic financial plans to support the company's growth objectives.
5. Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
6. Participating in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.
7. Coordinating with other teams to implement financial systems and solve complex financial issues.
8. Leading the integration of financial systems and processes in the event of mergers and acquisitions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller position should have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
3. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
4. Demonstrated experience with month-end close processes.
5. Public accounting experience is preferred.
6. Experience with high-growth companies and acquisition integrations is preferred.
7. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial software.
