ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Our client is an industry leader in the Greater Tampa Bay market and looking to bring on a Controller. The company boasts great company stability for over 50 years, outstanding recent and projected growth, and career progression to C-suite level for the right candidate!


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER:

• The Controller will oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Financial statement preparation and analysis
• Responsible for the annual preparation of the company operating budget
• Work closely with the President and CEO to drive business decision making
• Responsible for project accounting functions
• The Controller will coordinate closely with the CFO
• The Controller will be responsible for special projects as needed for the success of the business

PREFERRED SKILLS OF THE CONTROLLER:

• BS in Finance, or Accountancy, or equivalent business experience
• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures and US GAAP
• Proven ability to meet daily and monthly deliverable's
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to train and develop your department

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000, depending on experience. This role has hybrid flexibility.
