Job Overview:
The Controller will take ownership of the month-end close process and manage the financial operations of the company. This role includes overseeing a team of three, ensuring compliance in financial reporting, and handling trade accounting for promotions and deductions. Regional travel is required every other month. The Controller will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and supporting the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities for the Controller:

• Manage the month-end close process.
• Oversee the annual audit.
• Handle trade accounting for chargebacks, promotions, and deductions.
• Oversee tax reporting.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Manage inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Perform hands-on financial tasks and support the finance team.

Qualifications desired for the Controller:

• CPA certification is a plus.
• Manufacturing experience, particularly with month-end close processes and inventory management.
• Branded consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience, including trade accounting, rebates, chargebacks, promotions, and deduction accounting.
• Proven experience in high-growth work environments.
• Strong cultural fit: driven, proactive, adaptable, and entrepreneurial.

Location: Hybrid schedule in Tampa, FL with periodic travel requirements.

Salary: $120k-$175k + 20% bonus potential and equity participation.
