Job Title: Junior Controls Engineer
Overview: Leadec ES, Inc. is seeking entry level candidates for a junior controls engineering position.
Controls Engineers at Leadec ES, Inc. are part of the Controls and Automation division. This division is responsible
for the complete design and integration of control systems into customer's processes. This includes electrical
panel design, hardware specifications, power distribution, PLC and HMI programming as well as system
commissioning and support. Junior engineers have the opportunity to learn new skills and to work in a very
challenging and fast paced environment. All engineers at Leadec ES, Inc. are expected to use their discretion to
make independent judgments and choices with respect to project specific matters such as ordering materials and
interfacing with customers. The applicant should also be capable of evaluating possible courses of action and
making independent decisions on the behalf of management.
Controls engineers are involved in many different projects at Leadec ES, Inc. including, but not limited to:
* Automotive conveyor systems
* Paint Shop and Body Shop application robot integration
* Mining and Steel Processes
* Roofing Product lines
* Food and Beverage

Minimum Requirements:
* B.S. degree an engineering discipline from a recognized and accredited institution
* The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and complete a background check after
an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
* Must possess a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
* Prior work experience in an industrial environment preferred
* Familiarity with AutoCAD or EPLAN (preferred but not required)
* Experience with Microsoft Office Products -- Word, Excel, Project, Visio, etc.
Working Conditions:
* Mix of office environment and on location at various job sites
* Travel to jobsites as required
* Weekend work required
