Controls Engineer


Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining equipment standards within our industries. Responsibilities include:

• Design control systems for complex automated systems "from the ground up, including developing panel layouts, power distribution and controls wiring diagrams, PLC programs, and HMI programs.
• You will work closely and be very familiar with Allen Bradley and ControlLogix PLC's & FactoryTalk View and other platforms.
• A background in both manufacturing and process controls and a strong understanding of instrumentation, analog signaling, and basic electronics would be beneficial.
• Will work closely with Project Engineers to develop and implement error-proofing systems.
• Will work closely with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose daily production issues.

Qualifications:

• Allen Bradley PLC Programming: 3+ years
• Automation: 3+ years
• Manufacturing: 3+ years
• Electrical: 3+ years

• Walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders and stairs; crawl; kneel
• The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 80 pounds unassisted.
• Must be safety and customer-focused, without exception

• Required safety equipment: Metatarsal boots, ARC-flash rated clothing, protective eyewear, gloves, hard hat, and hearing protection
