Job Title: Mechanical EngineerPay Rate: Starting at $46.05/hrLocation: Chillicothe, IL ZIP Code: 61523Start Date: Right AwayJob Type: Contract Keywords: #ControlsEngineer #EngineeringJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Perform Software HIL bench tests using OPAL-RT * Support Lithium-Ion battery system performance and validation lab tests for software release * Support Lithium-Ion battery system testing, checking data quality, test result integrity and repeatability. * Data analysis across multiple Conformance, Performance and Validation test protocols * Write requirements, procedures, and reports and formally present on test outcomes. * Communicate technical information to internal and external customers, team members, and suppliersREQUIRED QUALIFICATION:* Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or other Engineering degree * 2 to 4 years of experience required with the technical skills specified* Matlab/Simulink , Control desk * HIL/SIL Software validation * Battery Management systems functional knowledge* Self-starter, Organized, good at communication and collaboration in team settings, MS Office PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Control Systems knowledge including controls design * Knowledge of Software validation tools like OPAL-RT, dSpace * Plant Model integration- Knowledge of electrical components, switches, sensors, actuators, solenoids to manage HIL benches* Knowledge of tools like CANape, ET, ECM and ECM communication * Embedded software knowledgeBenefits: * Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision / glasses / prescription contact lens and eye test options available. * On the job training / cross-training to develop and expand skills, creating opportunity for advancement and personal development.
