We are in search of a highly skilled Controls Integration Engineer to spearhead the integration of control systems, streamline processes, and optimize automation in our manufacturing facilities.
Job Description: As a Controls Integration Engineer you will be responsible for orchestrating the seamless integration of control systems across our production lines. Your primary focus will be on merging diverse control systems, enhancing interoperability, and ensuring efficient communication between equipment and machinery. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in maximizing productivity, reliability, and quality within our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Integration: Lead the integration of control systems for new and existing production machinery, ensuring smooth communication and interoperability.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compatibility and integration of diverse control systems and equipment.
3. PLC and HMI Integration: Coordinate PLC programming and HMI integration efforts to create unified control interfaces for streamlined operations.
4. Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated control systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and adherence to specifications.
5. Optimization and Troubleshooting: Identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and resolve any integration-related issues to minimize downtime.
6. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integrated systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Proven experience 3+ years in controls integration or a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the packaging industry.
- Expertise in PLC programming and HMI integration (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.) to facilitate seamless control system integration.
- Strong understanding of control system architectures, networking protocols, and industrial communication standards (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting integrated control systems and addressing compatibility issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
