About the Job
- Responsible for controls engineering & electrical support, controls modifications and continuous improvement of production processes.
- Provide technical support and direction to maintenance and other technical employees within the organization; maintain regular contact with partners outside of direct work group.
- Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment.
- Lead activities related to TIP (Throughput Improvement Process).
- Design Tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements.
- Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies.
- Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans; track corrective actions.
- Enforces safe work practices as the highest priority.
- Maintaining the line from a control’s aspect.
- Will debug and continuous improvements on the machine. PLCs and Robots.
- 10 controls engineers with wide range of talent.
- Robot programing.
- Project planning.
Top skills:
- Robot- Fanuc programing & GRS certified, how the company does robot programing.
- Project manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree.
- Years of experience: 8-10 years.
- Willing to look at someone with more years of experience and no degree.
- Understand MFG experience.
- IE or ME would be a plus.
- Controls engineer.
