Job Summary:
Supervises the Conversion Crew for a variety of changeovers for events and other work activities.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise the activities of the conversion staff in setting up the arena for a variety of events. Also, coordinate the work of the conversion staff in completing other various projects related to facility maintenance, upgrades, etc.
- Ensure storage warehouses are properly organized on a nightly basis and all department inventory is accounted for.
- Develop conversion plans with Conversion Leads, based on event requirements provided by Event Management staff.
- Assist Conversion Manager in planning and assigning responsibilities for all changeovers including doubleheaders.
- Maintain daily call sheets and individual employee timesheets, indicating correct employee hours.
- Participate in physical tasks of conversion and other projects along with the conversion crew as necessary.
- Consult with the Manager regarding personnel issues and possible solutions or disciplinary action as needed.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or its equivalency.
- 2 - 4 years of related work experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft/Excel applications.
- General knowledge of all conversion activities.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions to perform tasks.
- Knowledge of basic safety regulations and procedures.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
- Must be able to stand, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.
- Must have valid forklift certification or ability to get certification.
- Must be able to work late or overnight shift, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Conversion experience in a large, multi-use facility preferred.
Pay Scale: $25.00 - $27.50
