Converting Operator at International Imaging Materials, Inc

Positions require availability and flexibility to work any shift in our 24/7 schedule:

• A-Shift 7am-7pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & some Wednesdays
• B-Shift 7pm-7am Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & some Saturdays
• C-Shift 7am-7pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & some Wednesdays
• D-Shift 7pm-7am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & some Saturdays

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Continuous safe and efficient operation of slitting machines and shrink wrap cell, to include set-up, operation, change over, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Perform daily audits and accountable for quality.
• Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
• Daily tool inspection and accountability.
• Monitor machine status and communicate issues to Lead and Supervisor in a timely manner.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

(Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job)

• Minimum six months machine operation experience required.
• Previous slitter or splitter experience preferred; experience with robotics a plus.
• Good math and reading skills, including the ability to interpret slitting specifications and standard operating procedures.
• Demonstrated, good troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills, AX knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of packing requirements preferred.
• Possess positive interpersonal skills to perform effectively in a team environment.
