Riverview Rehabilitation and Nursing is in historic Owego, NY, and is a 77- bed facility located on the banks of Susquehanna River offering stunning views and sounds of the river and beautifully enclosed garden area.
Riverview Rehabilitation and nursing is accepting applications for Dietary Cook/Aide to join our team. Full/ Part-Time, including every other weekend off. We offer full benefits package, competitive pay, Health, Dental and Vision, Short term disability and Life insurance.
Dietary aide is responsible for cold food items, beverages, assisting in dishwashing and help maintain the kitchen clean. Assist the cook with tray assembly, restock snack carts, maintain temperature logs, and ensure food safety and hygiene procedures are being followed.
Cook is responsible for hot food items, ensuring all food items are at the correct temperature, following policies and state food rules and regulations. Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Be able to bake, roast, grill, steam, sauté and boiling of meats, vegetables, fish, and poultry. Be able to process food items based on different diet needs.
